Mark is a shameless perfectionist and can see at a glance if something is cool. Or not. He found his calling studying graphic design in Rotterdam, where graphic design was taught as a real craft. Typography and abstraction can be found in his style, which is both timeless and innovative. For pure and powerful branding, without nonsense, Mark is your go-to. Good conversations included.

Brand strategist, brand identity designer
Mariko has a sensor for 'what's needed'. Her style is illustrative and she knows exactly how to make your brand meaningful through storytelling. Mark and Mariko met while studying, the rest is history. Mariko also founded jewelry brand Applepiepieces (sold in 2018), shopping guide Happlify and is author of the bestseller 'Sell your stuff online', after which her venture SYSO is named.
what’s in a name
Loaded ink is more than just a name. Our concepts and designs literally start with ink on paper. No empty shells or blanks. We aim for authenticity, spirit and purpose. That's the core of everything we do, also known as 'hardcoreporate'. Sorry, we don't tattoo yet.

2021
This year Mariko writes the workbook 'Happlify Your Life', published by Nijgh & Van Ditmar for both the Dutch and Belgian market.
2019
Happy shopping guide Happlify is founded, a unique content platform that spotlights quality web shops, brands and events.
2017
After almost ten wonderful years, we are selling our jewelry brand and webstore Applepiepieces.
2014
Mariko writes the bestseller workbook 'Sell your stuff online' (Unieboek | Het Spectrum, 5th edition). This sets our eponymous company Sell your stuff online in motion, aimed at e-commerce entrepreneurs.
2010
A special year. In May 2010 our awesome son Scott is born. Business wise we decide to slow down and reduce our team.
2009
We took a long extensive road trip through California USA to visit friends, bands and hot spots. Also looking for inspiration and new challenges.
2008
Mariko starts her jewelry brand and webstore Applepiepieces, which grows BIG almost overnight.
2007
Mark and Mariko get married on the most beautiful June 21st ever.
2005
Moving to larger premises (across the street) and again more clients follow, including Grand Hotel Kurhaus, ING Real Estate, Stora Enso, ANWB, VNU Exhibitions Europe, AkzoNobel and RTV Utrecht.
2001
Moving to Scheveningen Beach and hire staff. More clients follow, such as Sanoma Publishers, Heinz Europe, Bronovo Hospital, Chamber of Commerce, Koninklijke Horeca Nederland and the Province of Zeeland. We are growing fast.
1998
We move to our first real office in The Hague, have cocktails with (former) Queen Beatrix and start working for the Municipality of The Hague, HTM public transport, UNICEF Netherlands, Oxfam Novib and Mercedes-Benz Group, among others.
1996
The year Mark and Mariko fall in love. Mark Naber establishes Loaded ink – design agency BNO and Mariko joins in 1997.
